The Titan reed switch is a crucial component in the activation of the Titan water heater. When water enters the Titan water heater it pushes a magnet to right below the reed switch who closes the circuit, which signals the heating the water to start heating the water.
If the reed switch doesn't work, the Titan water heater will not activate. Therefore, the heating elements will not heat the water.
